Ellenborough Place, Temporary Traffic Restrictions Level Crossing Maitenance Works

CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (U2777 ELLENBOROUGH PLACE, MARYPORT) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable level crossing maintenance works to be carried out ("the Works"), Cumberland Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of the U2777 Ellenborough Place, Maryport, for a distance of approx. 20m either side of the centre line of Ellenborough level crossing.

A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times and a suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the unrestricted sections of Ellenborough Place, Hutton Place and A596.

The Order will come into operation on 7 May 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required between 2300 hours on 7 May 2025 and 0430 hours on 8 May 2025, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
