Bridgwater Road and Adsborough Hill, Taunton - Temporary Road Closures due to Works

Temporary Closure of Bridgwater Road and Adsborough Hill
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Bridgwater Road - from the junction with Monkton Elm Roundabout, north-eastwards incorporating Adsborough Hill for a total distance of 2265 metres.
This Order will enable Kiely Bros to carry out pre-surface dressing patching works on behalf of Somerset Highways. Solid diamond symbolization to be used on diversion route and will not clash with any other Kiely Bros works within the area.
The Order becomes effective on 15th May 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months.
The works are expected to commence on 19th May 2025 and last until 30th May 2025 between the hours of 20:00 - 05:00 for a total of 10 nights.
