Dean Street/Side Mini Roundabout - Prohibition All Vehicular Traffic For Works
What is happening?
CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
(DEAN STREET/SIDE MINI ROUNDABOUT) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 24 April 2025 the Council of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on Dean Street / Side miniroundabout encompassing the entire circulatory carriageway of the mini roundabout.
2. The alternative route for traffic will be signed on site as required.
3. The order is required to allow works to be carried out on or near the highway.
4. Exemptions will be provided for vehicles engaged in the said works.
5. The Order will come into operation on 24 May 2025 and will continue, as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, up to 25 May 2025 or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
