(TEMPORARY PUBLIC FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use of Wansbeck District Public Footpath Number 48, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows:
From a point 40 metres south of Oxford House and immediately south-east of the Electricity Sub-Station in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 85 metres to a point 90 metres south-east of Oxford House.
There is an alternative route available from a point 40 metres south of Oxford House and immediately south-east of the Electricity Sub-Station in a southerly direction for a distance of 60 metres then continuing in a general easterly direction for a distance of 95 metres to a point 125 metres south-east of Oxford House.
The Order is to be effective from the 5th May 2025 until the 5th November 2025.

The closure has been requested by Partner Construction Limited in the interests of public safety, to facilitate the construction of a residential development (Planning Ref: 23/02165/FUL).
