Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This is in accordance with section 15(8) of said Act and Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions will continue to be in force:
Temporary Road Closure:
Temporary prohibition on the use of vehicular traffic on a length of highway, namely a section of the U6518 Westfield Crescent from its point at the rear of number 35 Gibson Street for a distance of 30 metres to its point at the rear of number 43A Gibson Street (“the Road”) in the County of Northumberland.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the Order is in force being namely, Westfield Crescent from its point at number 34 Westfield Crescent to its point at number 2 Westfield Crescent in a westerly, northerly then easterly direction and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

This Order came into force on the 21st April 2025 and remained in force until the 30th May 2025
