What is happening?

(Moniaive Folk Festival Childrens Parade) 
(Temporary Traffic Regulation Order) Order 2025

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close various roads in Moniaive on Saturday 10th May 2025 from 16:00 to 16:30. 

Parade route: High Street from George Hotel to corner of Craigdarroch Arms, left down Chapel Street to Moniaive Primary School. 

The closure is necessary to facilitate activities associated with Moniaive Folk Festival Childrens Parade. No alternative route is available. 

Minor delays should be expected for the duration of parade. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(Waiting Restrictions) Traffic Regulation Order 2025

Notice is given that The Council has made the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

Details may be inspected between 02/05/25 and 13/06/25 online at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk or by arrangement (Tel – 030 33 33 3000). 

Any person wishing to challenge the validity of the Order on the grounds that it is not within the Statutory powers set out in the Act or relevant regulations, or that any requirement of the Act or relevant regulations has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make an application for that purpose to the Court of Session.


(U475n Carronbridge - Mitchellslacks) 
(Temporary Traffic Regulation Order) Order 2025

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the U475n at Drumcork Farm, Thornhill from 0930 – 1530 on 15/05/25. 

The closure is necessary to facilitate BT pole replacement works. 

Alternative route available via U476n, A76(T), C134n, U477n, U475n and vice versa. Emergency access will be available. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
