Temporary Closure of Stoke Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Stoke Road - from the junction with Broad Lane to the junction with White Street. A total distance of 715 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement works.

The Order becomes effective on 15th May 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 20th May 2025 and last until 20th May 2025 between the hours of 08:30 - 15:30 for a total of 7 hours.
