ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(CANONS ASHBY ROAD, MORETON PINKNEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Canons Ashby Road, Moreton Pinkney as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Canons Ashby Road, Moreton Pinkney – from Arnheim Cottages to EG4.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during repairs to a defect.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 23rd May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for six days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Banbury Road, Blakesley Road, Maidford Road, Quinbury End, High Street, Blakesley Road, Towcester Road, Wappenham Road Abthorpe Road, High Street, Weedon Lois Road, Wappenham Road,

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(VARIOUS ROAD, EAST HADDON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of the various roads in East Haddon as specified in the Schedule below.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 12th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for up to five days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use A5, A45, A4500, Tollgate Way and Bants Lane.

(STAVERTON ROAD, DAVENTRY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC INCLUDING PEDESTRIANS & EQUESTRIANS) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic, including pedestrians and equestrians
from proceeding along that length of Staverton Road, Daventry as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Staverton Road, Daventry from Avon Close to Tamar Square.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during installation of new telecom pole.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.

(HIGH STREET, WEEDON BEC) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) (WESTBOUND ONLY) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic (westbound only) from proceeding
along that length of High Street, Weedon Bec as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of High Street Weedon Bec (westbound only) – from junction with the A5 for 100 metres.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during drainage works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 12th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(EVERDON ROAD & PRESTON CAPES ROAD, FARTHINGSTONE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Everdon Road and Preston Capes Road, Farthingstone as set out below.
LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of Everdon Road – from junction of Main Street to Preston Capes Road and Preston Capes Road – from junction of Everdon Road to Weedon Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during a new water connection and 1000 metres of pipework to be installed.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for six weeks.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Preston Capes Road, Weedon Road and Main Street or Weedon Road, Main Street, Maidford Road, High Street, Newnham Road, High Street, Stubbs Road and Farthingstone Road.
