Enfield, Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Road Closures
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION (14.1)
The council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.
BROWNING ROAD EN2 – 4496
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential water works
Operational Date and times:
“Any time” 6 May 2025 for 1 day or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order will be to close this road at its junction with Park Nook Gardens. While this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.
YOUNGMANS CLOSE EN2 – 4497
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential water works
Operational Date and times:
“Any time” 6 May 2025 for 3 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking on both sides of this road between the junction with Lavender Hill and No.1 Youngmans Close.
TURKEY STREET EN3 – EM43
Reason for 14(1) Order – Follow on from 14.2 notice
Operational Date and times:
“Any time” 29 April 2025 on a phased basis for a further 18 weeks or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order will be to;
suspend parking on both sides of the road between Hertford Road and Elsinge Road
close Ascot Gardens, Goodward Avenue and Winnington Road at their junctions with Turkey Street
close Turkey Street at its junction with Hertford Road EN3
While these roads are closed local diversions will be in operation.
CULGAITH GARDENS EN2 – EM44
Reason for 14(1) Order – Follow on from 14.2 notice
Operational Date and times:
“Any time” 27 April 2025 for a further 2 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order will be to close this road at its junction with Merryhills Drive. While this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.
GROVE STREET N18 – EM45
Reason for 14(1) Order – Follow on from 14.2 notice
Operational Date and times:
“Any time” 23 April 2025 for a further 2 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order will be to close this road at its junction with Snells Park.
While this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.
