Fyfield Road & Fairways, Amport, Test Valley - Temporary Road Closures due to ducting works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: that part of Fyfield Road between its junction with Amesbury Road and its junction with Mayfield Avenue. that part of Fairways between its junction with Fyfield Road for the extent of the road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Dauntsey Drove, A342, Amesbury Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from 19th May 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 days, working between the hours 08:30-17:30).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for
Openreach to carry out ducting work.
