The County of Cornwall (Arwenack Street, Bank Place, Falmouth) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 28th April 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Falmouth. This prohibition is necessary for blockage clearance works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th May 2025 to 16th May 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2100 and 0600, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Arwenack Street between the junctions of Custom House Quay and Bank Place and Bank Place between the junction of Arwenack Street and the property named Bank House, Falmouth.

Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 28th April 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 40 MPH over an area of highway being Cury Cross Lanes, Bochym Hill, Cury Cross Lanes between the junction of Chypons Road and grid reference SW69590 20728 for approximately 730 metres. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out poling works.

The Order will come into operation on 16th May 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 16th May 2025.

The restriction will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530 on a daily basis, weekdays only.

The County of Cornwall (Tresawls Road, Highertown and Newbridge Lane, Truro) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 28th April 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Truro. 

This prohibition is necessary for surfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th May 2025 to 2nd June 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.

Roads affected - Tresawls Road between grid reference SW79578 45093 and the junction of Highertown, Highertown for its entire length and Newbridge Lane between the junction of Tresawls Road and Tresawls Avenue, Truro. Notice is also given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing bus lane order, The County of Cornwall (Truro) (Tresawls Road) (Bus Route) Order 2006 Tresawls Road (A390) - From the eastern side of its junction with Penventinnie Lane (known locally as Old Penventinnie Lane) in an easterly direction between points Om-200m and 218m-294m, From the centre of its junction with Penwerris Road in a westerly direction between points 21m-140m and 180m-201m and From a point 13m east of the centre of its junction with Penwerris Road for a distance of 200m in a easterly direction.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 28th April 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Truro. This prohibition is necessary for surfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th May 2025 to 2nd June 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Treliske Lane, Truro between the junction of Tresawls Road and Penwerris Road.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Constantine. This prohibition is necessary for fibre connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th May 2025 to 28th May 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Bridge, Constantine for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Falmouth. This prohibition is necessary for manhole repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th May 2025 to 29th May 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Mongleath Road, Falmouth between the junctions of Longfield and Mongleath Avenue.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Constantine. This prohibition is necessary for poling and cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 28th May 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Treculliacks, Constantine between the junctions of Silver Hill and Lower Treculliacks.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Grampound. 

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th May 2025 to 30th May 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Junction South Of Trewinnow Meor To Pepo Lane, Grampound between the junction Pepo Lane and the property named Nantellan Lodge.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Nancegollan. This prohibition is necessary for fibre connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 30th May 2025 to 2nd June 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Godolphin Road, Drym Road, Nancegollan for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 28th April 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Redruth. This prohibition is necessary for works to repair defect and it is expected that the closure will be from 12th May 2025 to 10th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Treskillard, Redruth from junction with Brea Adit to junction with New Row.
