Norfolk Bank Lane, Ellerker - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic to Enable the Proposed Fibre Works to Be Carried Out
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OFYORKSHIRE COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NORFOLK BANK LANE, ELLERKER (WHOLE EXTENT)
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along Norfolk Bank Lane, Ellerker (whole extent).
The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed fibre works to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 6 June 2025. The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via Ellerker Lane, Common Road and Millbeck Bank, South Cave CP, Dale Ward.
The road will be closed to all through traffic but remain open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for emergency services.
The Order will commence Monday 12 May 2025 and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
