(Mid Sussex District: Various Roads) (Roads Maintenance Programme) (Temporary Traffic Regulation No.3) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close, temporarily prohibit waiting at any time and temporarily introduce a 20 MPH speed limit throughout the whole length (unless otherwise stated) of the flowing roads in Arun District: ARDINGLY: Cob Lane from the B2028 to Church
Hill. BURGESS HILL: London Road from Maple Drive to Leylands Road. BOLNEY: Cross Colwood Lane from Lodge Lane to Earwig Lane. COWFOLD: A272 a) from Thornden to Oakfield Road, b) from The Street to Longhouse Lane, Henfield Road (A281) from the A272 to its junction with St Peters Close, Horsham Road (A281) from the A272 to Thornden. EAST GRINSTEAD: College Lane from De La Warr Road to Lewes Road, Lingfield Road from the A22 to the East Sussex County boundary, West Hoathly Road from Coombe Hill Road southwards to the East Sussex County boundary, HORSTED KEYNES: Birchgrove Road, Treemans Road. LINDFIELD: Portsmouth Lane from Sunte
Avenue to Brook Lane. SCAYNES HILL: Sloop Lane from Butterbox Lane to Ketches Lane. SHARPTHORNE: Horsted Lane. TURNERS HILL: Paddockhurst Road B2110. These restrictions are needed to allow road maintenance works to be carried out in safety. The works are expected to take up to three days and dates for works will be confirmed in advance locally nearer the time they are carried out. The Order will come into effect on 5 May 2025 and remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.
