What is happening?

(HARVEST HILL ROAD (PART), MAIDENHEAD
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER 2025
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:-
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Harvest Hill Road, Maidenhead from its junction with A308 Windsor Road in eastbound direction to western boundary of property known as “Tamarind”.
The alternative route for vehicles is via A308 Braywick Road, Shoppenhangers Road and Harvest Hill Road.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works on the highway, namely new power connection for development, and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order shall be in operation from 00.01 hours on Friday 16th May until 23.59 hours on Friday 23rd May 2025. There will be prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
