What is happening?

THE TEWKESBURY BOROUGH COUNCIL 
(OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2015 (VARIATION NO. 3) ORDER 2025

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Tewkesbury Borough Council (“the Council”) HAS MADE an Order under Sections 32 and 35 of and under Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) (“the Act”) and of all other enabling powers with the consent of Gloucestershire County Council in accordance with Section 39(3) of the Act and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.

2. The Order, which came into effect on 24 April 2025, relates to the installation of Electric Vehicle Charging points within the Council’s Parking Places and may be cited as ‘The Tewkesbury Borough Council (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2015 (Variation No. 3) Order 2025 (“the Order”)

3. The Order will be available for inspection within the next six weeks at the Council’s Public Services Centre Reception Gloucester Road Tewkesbury Glos GL20 5TT on Mondays to Fridays during normal office hours. Full details will also be available on Tewkesbury Borough Council’s web-site.

4. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act on any ground that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to this Order may within six weeks from the date of this Notice make application to the High Court.
