What is happening?

NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL
(Various Roads, Scunthorpe Area) (Big Green 10k Run) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that North Lincolnshire Council, being satisfied that the provisions set out in Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 apply, proposes to make an Order under that Section on the occasion of the Big Green 10k Run, Scunthorpe. The Order will take effect on Sunday 18th May 2025 8am-1pm and will have the effect of temporarily prohibiting as follows any vehicle from proceeding along the following Roads in the Scunthorpe Area - Ashby Rd (both directions), Brumby Wood Lane (both directions, rolling closure), Brumby Hall Gardens (both directions), Centenary Way (both directions), Kingsway (east bound only, rolling closure), Queensway (east bound only, rolling closure). The diversion is Scotter Rd, Burringham Rd, Ashby High St, Grange Lane South, Grange Lane North, A1029, Rowland Rd, Howsden Hill, Church Lane and reverse.
