What is happening?

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE ORDER SECTION 14 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH BA27/30, MINSMERE ROAD, KEYNSHAM)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a closure to the section of Public Footpath BA27/30 commencing from ST66456771 and proceeding in a generally SSE direction for approx 940m to ST66866695.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the right of way: namely the applicant will be building 67 residential properties. The Order will come into force on 9th June 2025 and will be effective for six months.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Minsmere Road - Hurn Lane - Manor Road. Vice Versa.
