Lower Ansford - Temporary Closure For Service Disconnection Works

What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Lower Ansford

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Lower Ansford - from 29 metres north of the junction with Tuckers Lane, northwards for a total distance of 94 metres.

This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out service disconnection works.

The Order becomes effective on 15th May 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 19th May 2025 and last until 23rd May 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
