Grimshaw Lane and Lord North Street - No Waiting at Any Time
What is happening?

Notice is hereby given that Manchester City Council has on 25 April 2025 made the Manchester City Council (Grimshaw Lane and Lord North Street, Miles Platting and Newton Heath) (Prohibition of Waiting, Prohibition of Loading / Unloading and Amendment) Order 2025, the effects of which are to introduce the following:
1. No Waiting at Any Time on: (i) Grimshaw Lane, both sides, from Lord North Street to Briscoe Lane south-easterly (ii) Lord North Street, north-west side, from 361m north-east of Hulme Hall Lane to Grimshaw Lane north-easterly; and (iii) Lord North Street, north-east side, from 51m northeast of Clifton Street to Grimshaw Lane north-easterly.
2. No Loading at Any Time on: (i) Grimshaw Lane, northeast side, from Lord North Street for 45m south-easterly
(ii) Grimshaw Lane, south-west side, from Lord North Street for 17m south-easterly; and (iii) Lord North Street, both sides, from Grimshaw Lane for 10m south-westerly.
3. No Wating at Any Time and No Loading at Any Time on: Grimshaw Lane, both sides, from Lord North Street for 35m north-westerly.
The Order will come into operation on 8 May 2025. An existing Order has been amended to be consistent with the above.
A copy of the made Order and the plan may be inspected at Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm on Monday to Friday inclusive.
Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within 6 weeks from 25 April 2025 apply to the High Court for such purpose.
