Temporary Closure of Compton Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Compton Road - from the junction with Cannards Grave Road to the junction with Ridge Lane. A total distance of 960 metres.
This Order will enable Kiely Bros to carry out pre-surface dressing patching on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 15th May 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 23rd May 2025 and last until 1st June 2025 between the hours of 07:00 - 19:00 for a total of 10 days.
