Fosse Road To Silver Street - Temporary Closure For Excavation And Underground Civils Works

Temporary Closure of Fosse Road To Silver Street Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Fosse Road To Silver Street - from 166 metres north of the junction with Beauchamps Drive, northwards for a total distance of 339 metres.
This Order will enable Openreach to carry out excavation and underground civils works.
The Order becomes effective on 15th May 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 19th May 2025 and last until 19th May 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
