Langport Road - Temporary Road Closure For Pole Replacement Works

Temporary Closure of Langport Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Langport Road - from the junction with Portland Road to the junction with Wagg Drove. A total distance of 119 metres.
This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement works.
The Order becomes effective on 15th May 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months.
The works are expected to commence on 21st May 2025 and last until 21st May 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
