Consolidation Order 2022 (Gelders Hall Road And Cheapside, Shepshed)
(Amendment 11) Order 202
THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be:
To revoke part of the Limited Waiting Restrictions on Cheapside, Shepshed
To impose No Waiting at Any Time Restrictions on part of Gelders Hall Road, Shepshed.
A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan illustrating the proposals and an explanatory statement giving the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at my offices, Room 200, County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA, at the offices of Charnwood Borough Council, Southfields, Loughborough LE11 2TX or on the Notice Board of Shepshed Town Council.

Objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made, should be sent in writing to the undersigned by not later than 22nd May 2025, quoting reference KJ/HTWMT/5941.
