Bridgets Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Excavation Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - BRIDGETS LANE, ITCHEN VALLEY, WINCHESTER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Bridgets Lane between its junction with B3047 and its junction with A33.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B3047, Martyr Worthy Road, A33.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 28th April 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Thursday 1st May 2025 and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
