TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES, TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTIONS – VARIOUS ROADS, COUNTYWIDE 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14 because of works on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads:

  1. Newbury Road, Whitchurch, Basingstoke between its junction with Bere Hill and its junction with Oakland Road

  2. Eastfield Lane, Ringwood, New Forest between its junction with Southampton Road and its junction with Jubilee Close

  3. West Green, Yateley, Hart between its junction with Reading Road and its termination

  4. Church Road, Swanmore, Winchester between its junction with New Road and its junction with Vicarage Lane

  5. Dirty Lane, Denmead, Winchester between its junction with Ervills Road and its junction with Broad Lane

  6. Harrowgate Lane, Denmead, Winchester between its junction with Pitt Hill Lane and its termination

  7. Clappers Farm Road, Silchester, Basingstoke between its junction with Bramley Road and its junction with Wall Lane

TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION – To impose a 40 mph temporary speed restriction on the following road:

A35 Totton Bypass (Eastbound), Totton, New Forest between its junction with Rushington Roundabout and its junction with A36 Commercial Road

TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION – To impose a 30 mph temporary speed restriction on the following road:

Church Road, Bramshott, Liphook, East Hampshire between its junction with London Road and its junction with a point approximately 40 meters north of junction with London Road

TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION – To impose a 30 mph temporary speed restriction on the following road:

London Road, Liphook, East Hampshire between its junction with A3(M) overbridge and its junction with A3(M) northbound entry/exit slip

DURATION OF ORDER: from 12th May 2025 for a period of 18 months. (This is the duration of the Order, not the works, which will vary according to technical requirements. Closure times and patterns will be indicated on site prior to and whilst the works are in progress.) Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
