HOLES BAY ROAD, POOLE - TEMPORARY SPEED LIMIT DURING FLOOD DEFENCE WORKS TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT: Temporary speed limit of 30mph in force

WHERE: Holes Bay Road (A350) northbound from where the 30mph changes to 40mph at Sterte Green to just beyond the traffic signals at the Sterte Avenue West junction

WHY: For safety reasons during flood defence works by BCP Council

WHEN: Anticipated dates: 18 May 2025 until 3 October 2025

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
