Cambridgeshire - Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic, Waiting/ Loading, No Right Turn And Speed Restriction

CAMBRIDGESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC, WAITING/ LOADING, NO RIGHT TURN AND SPEED RESTRICTION) – ORDER EVENTS/2025/IWM DUXFORD

NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council (“the Council”) intends after seven days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which is to restrict traffic on the roads listed in schedule 1,3 and to impose a Speed Limit along all roads in schedule 2 of this order. 

The Order will be effective, for safety purposes, when signs are in place indicating the restrictions on any or all of roads listed on air show days.

The Proposed Order will come into operation on 10th May 2025 and will continue until 26th October 2025.

It is anticipated that the air show days will be held on 10th May 7th, 21st and 22nd June 25th July 17th, 16th August 6th and 7th September and 4th October 2025.

Nothing in this Order shall apply so as to prevent the passage of any vehicle being used by any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform or of a Civil Enforcement Officer.
