Ilchester Road - Temporary Road Closure To Connect New Fire Main

Temporary Closure of Ilchester Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Ilchester Road - from the junction with Ilchester Roundabout, northwards for a total distance of 414 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex Water to connect new fire main.
The Order becomes effective on 15th May 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months.
The works are expected to commence on 19th May 2025 and last until 22nd May 2025 between the hours of 18:30 - 06:00 for a total of 4 nights.
