Peru Street And North George Street - Temporary Road Closure For Essential Works

What is happening?

The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days the - Salford City Council (Peru Street And North George Street) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025
Regulation Act 1984.

The Order will close:
Peru Street: for a distance of 145 metres, between the junctions of Adelphi Street and North George Street.

North George Street: for a distance of 60 metres south of the junction of Cannon Street.

This Order is required for essential works to be completed.

The order is intended to come into operation on 12th May 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed, if earlier.

The closure will be in place 24 hours each day.
