Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,  makes or intends to make the following Orders.

SEVENOAKS AREA

A21 Weald Interchange (Morleys Roundabout), B245 London Road, A225 Riverhill & Morleys Road, Sevenoaks Weald (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Street Lighting works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on A21 Weald Interchange (Morleys Roundabout) and on part of B245 London Road, A225 Riverhill & Morleys Road, Sevenoaks Weald, on or after 19th May 2025 for up to 3 nights between 21.00hrs and 05.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

A21 Weald Interchange (Morleys Roundabout) will be closed for the entire length.

B245 London Road, A225 Riverhill and Morleys Road will be closed at their junctions with A21 Weald Interchange (Morleys Roundabout).

Diversion routes are as follows:

B245 London Road – B245 London Road, B245 Tonbridge Road, B245 London Road, B2260 High Street, B2260 Railway Approach, A26 Quarry Hill Road, A26 Quarry Hill Slip Northbound On, A21, Bessels Green Slip North Off, A25 Westerham Road, A25 Worships Hill, A224 Amherst Hill, A224 London Road, A225 High Street, A225 Tonbridge Road, A225 Riverhill & B245 London Road.

 A225 Riverhill no access to Morleys roundabout - Traffic will continue onto B245 London Road.

Morleys Road - Glebe Road, Hubbards Hill, Gracious Lane, A225 Tonbridge Road, A225 Riverhill.

No access to roundabout - Traffic to continue on A21 northbound for traffic heading towards Sevenoaks will leave off Bessels Green Slip North Off.  Southbound traffic to continue to Tonbridge and exit at Vauxhall Slip Southbound off, A2014 Pembury Road, B2260 Railway Approach, B2260 High Street, B245 London Road.

 

B2042 Cold Arbor Road, Sevenoaks, TN13 2PS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of access to a pole for testing and tree cutting, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2042 Cold Arbor Road, Sevenoaks, on or after 9th May 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed near Salters Heath Business Centre.

The alternative route is via B2024 Cold Arbor Road, B2024 Wheatsheaf Hill, B2024 Ide Hill Road, B2024 Green Lane, B2024 Ide Hill Road, B269 Pootings Road, B269 Spout Lane, B2026 Main Road, B2026 Hosey Common Road, B2026 Hosey Hill, A25 Quebec Square, A25 Brasted Road, A25 Westerham Road, A25 High Street, A25 Main Road, A25 Westerham Road and vice versa.

 

Blueberry Lane, Knockholt, TN14 7LL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of a new electricity supply for a customer, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Blueberry Lane, Knockholt, on or after 6th May 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Blueberry Farm.

The alternative route is via Main Road, Pound Lane and vice versa.

 

Botsom Lane, West Kingsdown, TN15 6BL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of a new electricity supply for a customer, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Botsom Lane, West Kingsdown, on or after 8th May 2025 for up to 1 day between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Paladin.

The alternative route is via A20 London Road, School Lane, Tinkerpot Lane, Knatts Valley Road and vice versa.

 

Carter’s Hill, Underriver, TN15 0SD (PROHIBITION OF NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To facilitate the Tonbridge Lion’s Triathalon event, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit northbound through traffic on Carter’s Hill, Underriver, on or after 5th May 2025 for up to 1 day or until the event has been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction of Mill Lane to St Julians Road, between the hours of 07:00 and 13:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Bank Lane, B245 London Road, Morleys Roundabout, A225 Riverhill, St Julians Road.

 

Daltons Road, Chelsfield BR8 8EW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of pole replacement and testing works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Daltons Road, Chelsfield, on or after 20th May 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Gables Farm and number 2.

The alternative route is via Daltons Road, Skeet Hill Lane, Gorse Road, Skibbs Lane, East Hall Road, Waldens Road, B258 Crockenhill Road/Cray Road, Tylers Green Road and vice versa.

 

Darent Valley 10K Road Race - Various Roads, Sevenoaks  (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Darent Valley 10K Marathon 11th May 2025

For the safety of the public whilst an event is being held on the highway, Kent County Council has made an Order to restrict traffic on various roads as defined below.

A225 High Street, Eynsford Road, Eynsford
Northbound from the entrance to Anthony Roper School to the junction with Gorse Hill Southbound from 150 yards North of Priory Lane up to the entrance to Anthony Roper School

A225 High Street, Farningham
In both directions between its junction with Eynsford Road and Sparepenny Lane

Riverside, Eynsford
Entire length

A225 High Street, Eynsford, A225 High Street, Farningham, Riverside will only be closed for approx 10 mins whilst the runners start.

Sparepenny Lane, Farningham/Eynsford - closed for the duration which will be between 8.30am and 10.30am.
In both directions between its junction with A225 High Street, Farningham and Riverside
Diversion: from Wested Lane/Crockenhill Lane via the A20 and Eynsford Road

The Order will be effective when required on Sunday 11th May 2025 between 08.30hrs and 10.30hrs. The restrictions/prohibitions specified in this notice will apply in the direction and only at such times as indicated by traffic signs in operation.

Nothing in the Order will apply to:

•  
Any Vehicle being used for Ambulance purposes, Coastguard/RNLI, Fire Brigade or Police services.

•  
Anything done by a Statutory Undertaker vehicle in connection with an emergency repair.

•  
Anything done with the permission or at the direction of Event Organisers or a Police Constable in Uniform.

 

Furnace Lane, Cowden. TN8 7JU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of tree cutting to keep branches away from power lines, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Furnace Lane, Cowden, on or after 23rd May 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Badger Hus and Little Basing Farm.

The alternative route is via Furnace Lane, Holtye Hill, A264 Holtye Road, Shepherds Grove Lane, Smithers Lane, Furnace Lane and vice versa.

 

Ivy House Lane, Dunton Green, TN13 2TQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of a new electricity supply, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ivy House Lane, Dunton Green, on or after 8th May 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between London Road and the rear of Arundel House.

The alternative route is via London Road, Pilgrims Way West and vice versa.

 

Park Lane, Kemsing, TN15 6NX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of a new electricity supply for a customer, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Park Lane, Kemsing, on or after 7th May 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 10.

There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.

 

Pounsley Road, Dunton Green. TN13 2UF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of a new water connection, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pounsley Road, Dunton Green, on or after 19th May 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with A224 London Road.

There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.

 

St Clere, Kemsing. TN15 6NR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of a pole test, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of St Clere, Kemsing, on or after 23rd May 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed near number 3.

The alternative route is via Heaverham Road, Cotmans Ash Lane, Pilgrims Way, St Clere and vice versa.
