Barnet - Temporary Road Closure due to Drainage Diversion and Installation Works

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

SECTION 14(1)

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

NEW BRENT STREET, NW4

The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to the need to facilitate drainage diversions and installation for the development ‘Fosters Estate’, they have made an Order which will close New Brent Street, NW4 at its junction with Brent Street, NW4 to its junction with North Street, NW4 while the works take place. The works will commence on Monday 5th May 2025 at 8am and is expected to last for 20 weeks. Works will be undertaken in two phases.

Phase 1 – Junction with Brent Street, NW4 to Junction with Cowley Place, NW4. Diversion route – New Brent Street, Foster Walk, Foster Street, Brent Street, Heriot Road, North Street and vice versa.

Phase 2 – Junction with Cowley Place, NW4 to Junction with North Street, NW4.

Diversion route – New Brent Street, Foster Walk, Foster Street, Brent Street, Heriot Road, North Street and vice versa. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses.

Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Officer in uniform or other uniformed personnel authorised by the Commissioner of the Metropolis.
