TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C188 OVERLAY ROAD (DAGLINGWORTH PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C188 Overlay Road from its junction with Maces Hill to outside the properties known as ‘Overlay Cottages’ for a distance of approximately 965 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for Openreach pole testing works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C325 LEWIS LANE (CIRENCESTER TOWN) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C325 Lewis Lane Road from its junction with Dyer Street to its junction with Carpenters Lane for a distance of approximately 48 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for the installation of internet service.

The reason for the said closure is for water service repair works.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE 500859 COCKLEFORD TO PENHILL FARM (COLESBOURNE PARISH)(COTSWOLD DISTRICT)

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily restrict part of the 500859 Cockleford to Penhills Farm Road from outside of the property known as ‘Windy Ridge’ to its junction with ‘Road from High Cross to Oldbury Farm’ for a distance of approximately 924 metres.

The said closure is necessary for public safety reasons, due to an unsafe carriageway.

The road was originally closed for 21 days, by Emergency Notice, from 10th April 2025. However, the works are not yet completed, and it is therefore now necessary to make a Temporary Closure Order.
