What is happening?

The Kingston Upon Hull City Council

(Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic) Order 2025

Retford Grove (Part)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Retford Grove, from the junction of Annandale Road to the junction of Bideford Grove, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during the installation of valve and washout works.

The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Order will come into effect 12th May 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 8am and 6pm commencing 12th May 2025 to 16th May 2025.

ANLABY ROAD (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Anlaby Road, between numbers 1031 to 1039, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during pole installation works.

The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.

The Order will come into effect 13th May 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed nightly between 8pm and 6am on 13th/14th May 2025 and 15th/16th May 2025.

WALTON STREET LEVEL CROSSING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along Walton Street Level Crossing, Spring Bank West, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during uplift for rerailing works.

The alternative route for pedestrians and vehicles will be signed.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Order will come into effect 18th May 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 12.01am to 7am on 18th May 2025.

PORTER STREET & PROW NO 25
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along Porter Street and PROW No 25, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works being carried out as part of the A63 improvement scheme.

The alternative route for pedestrians and vehicles will be signed.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Order will come into effect 5th May 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. 

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 7.30am and 5.30pm commencing 5th May 2025 until 30th June 2025.
