What is happening?
Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: A4103, Roman Road, Holmer, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the A4103, Roman Road, Holmer, the A49 onto Whitecross Road onto the A4110 Three Elms Road, between the junctions with Belle Bank Avenue and Orchard Close. Grid Ref: 350535 / 242131.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is the A49 onto Whitecross Road onto the A4110 Three Elms Road and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to private resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 29th of April 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 night (1900hrs - 0000hrs).
