What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE 

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL

(STAFFORD STREET BUS LANE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Stafford Street bus lane outbound from opposite the junction of Bone Mill Lane to the side of
Fiveways House.

The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will
be undertaken on 7 May 2025 from 09:30 until 15:00.

The Order is required to facilitate a frame/cover replacement/repair by BT Openreach.
