What is happening?
SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) Court Hill (Part), Potterne; from its property known as No.34 Court Hill for a distance of approximately 50m in a south westerly direction to enable Alpharod Ltd to carry out new foul connection and associated works. Alternative route via Court Hill – Worton Road – Cheverell Road – A360 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 19 May 2025 and the closure will be required until 23 May 2025. B) C131 (Part), Lyneham and Bradenstoke; from its junction with Pintail Court to its junction with Victoria Drive to enable Openreach to carry out underground civils work, blockage clearance and other associated works. Alternative route via C131 (unaffected length) – C120 – A3102 – C131 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 20 May 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. For further information please contact Openreach on 0800 023 2023.
C) C15 (Part), Clyffe Pypard; from its junction with C119 to its junction with Thornhill Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out culvert replacement works and other associated works. Alternative route via C15 (unaffected length) – C120 – C123 – C110 – C15 (unaffected length) and vice versa. D) Slaughterford Road, Biddestone; from its junction with C164 to its junction with C179 to enable Wale and West Utilities to carry out new connection and associated works. Alternative route via C179 – C164 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 19 May 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 15:30 until 23 May 2025. E) George Lane (Part), Marlborough; from its junction with A345 to its junction with Ducks Meadow to enable Openreach to carry out blockage clearance work on the highway by accessing structure. Excavation is required. Alternative route via George Lane (unaffected length) – Salisbury Road – London Road – New Road – High Street – Pewsey Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 May 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 2 days.

F) C76 (Part), Brinkworth and Tockenham; from its junction with Sodom Lane to its junction with A3102 to enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement work and other associated works. Alternative route via A3102 – Whitehill Lane – C76 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 28 April 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 for 2 days. G) C35 (Part), Lydiard Tregoze; from its junction with Lydiard Residential Park for a distance of approximately 800m in a south easterly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out cattle grid replacement work and other associated works. Alternative route via C35 (unaffected length) – Whitehill Way – Tewkesbury Way – Holborn – The Street – Church Place – Lydiard Green – C414 – C35 (unaffected length) and vice versa. H) C120 (Part), Tockenham; from its junction with C130 for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction to enable Openreach to carry out works to lay ducting, build joint boxes, clear blockages and other associated works. Alternative route via C120 (unaffected length) – C131 – A3102 – C120 (unaffected length) and vice versa. I) C30 (Part), Froxfield and Little Bedwyn; from its junction with Trimdelown Lane to its junction with High Street to enable Openreach to carry out telecommunication equipment repair and associated works. Alternative route via High Street – School Lane – Brewhouse Hill – A4 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 28 April 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. J) C167 (Part), Bremhill; from its junction with C112 to its junction with UC 947401 to enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement works and other associated works. Alternative route via C167 (unaffected length) – C113 – C112 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 29 April 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 for 3 days. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Phase 1: Stockley Lane (Part), Calne; from outside its property known as No.04 Meadow View for a distance of approximately 35m in a south westerly direction.
Phase 2: Rookery Park (Part), Calne; from outside its property known as No.26 Rookery Park for a distance of approximately 35m in a south westerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out new foul connection and associated works.
Alternative route phase 1: via Stockley Lane (unaffected length) – Fairway – The Rise – Stockley Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa.
Alternative route phase 2: via Rookery Lane (unaffected length) – Fairway – The Rise – Rookery Park (unaffected length) and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
Phase 1 of this Order will come into operation on 28 April 2025 and the closure will be required until 02 May 2025.
Phase 2 of this Order will come into operation on 05 May 2025 and the closure will be required until 09 May 2025.
It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.

SECTION 14(1) AND 14(7) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
Ingram Street, Malmesbury; from its junction with High Street to its junction with Silver Street. And to temporarily suspend the existing prohibition order of no entry for vehicles from Cross Hayes junction into Silver Street to facilitate for diversion for traffic to enable Openreach to carry out carriageway box works and other associated works.
Alternative route via Silver Street – Cross Hayes – St Dennis Road – High Street – Oxford Street and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 01 May 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.

A) Footpath 1 (Part), Chippenham; from its junction with Footpath 9, Lacock for a distance of approximately 360m in a north easterly direction to enable development of 225 new homes and infrastructure works.
No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 19 May 2025 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 19 November 2025.

Alternative route via Footpath 11, Chippenham (unaffected length) – Station Hill – New Road – A420 – Union Road and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 28 April 2025 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 23 May 2025.
