Bierley House Avenue, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Due Construction Works

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL BIERLEY HOUSE AVENUE, BIERLEY, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction work proposed to be executed on or near Bierley House Avenue, Bierley, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Bierley House Avenue from its junction with Hambledon Avenue to its junction with Daffies Wood Close.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Bierley House Avenue (unaffected section), Bierley Lane, Currier Avenue, Hambledon Avenue and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 17:00 hours on the 6th May 2025 and remain in force until 05:00 hours on the 7th May 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
