Wilmslow Road - Temporary Closure of Bus Lane For Rectify Defective Reinstatement In The C/Way
What is happening?
MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC000143016232.: The City of Manchester (Wilmslow Road, Fallowfield Ward) (Temporary Closure of Bus Lane) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any bus, taxi or pedal cycle from proceeding at any time in the following length of bus lane: Wilmslow Road from Appleby Lodge to Bright Grove.
The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to rectify defective reinstatement in the c/way.
It is expected that the works will be in progress on the 11th May 2025. The order shall come into operation on 11th May 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
