Blackfriars Lane - Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrains For New Connection Works

What is happening?

PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (BLACKFRIARS LANE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRAINS) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council acting under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), intend to make an Order the effect of which is:

1. To prohibit the movement of pedestrians in:

- Blackfriars Lane - from the junction of Southside Street to number 3

The prohibition of pedestrians will be in operation on the days and during the hours that the appropriate traffic signs are displayed. The Order shall come into force on 27th May 2025 and shall continue in force for a maximum of 18 months.

It is anticipated that the new connection works will commence on the 27th May 2025 until 11th June 2025 24hrs.
