Notice of Making an Order

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable Southern Gas Networks to lay a new service carriageway outside Plot 2, 32 Tile Kiln Lane, Bexley, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition from 147 to 149 and from 30 to 32 Tile Kiln Lane, Bexley

  2. The Order will come into effect on 28 April 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 6 days.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be required.

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025

Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable Hochheif-Murphy Joint Venture to undertake works in the footway, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition on Faraday Road, Sidcup from No. 43 to 47 and from No. 57 to 69.

  2. The Order will come into effect on 6 May 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 11 days.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be required.

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Methuen Road & Poplar Mount, Belvedere

Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable Morrisons Water Services on behalf of Thames Water to replace the new water mains, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • A road closure on Methuen Road Belvedere the entire length. Access maintained for emergency services and residents when works allow. Works will be undertaken in phases.

    • No waiting and no loading on Methuen Road Belvedere, the entire length. Restrictions will be removed when no longer required.

    • A road closure on Poplar Mount Belvedere, the entire length. Access maintained for emergency services and residents when works allow. Works will be undertaken in phases.

    • No waiting and no loading on Poplar Mount the entire length. Restrictions will be removed when no longer required.

  2. The Order will come into effect on 1st May 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 months.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via (No diversion route will be required)

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable Morrisons Water Services on behalf of Thames Water to replace the new water mains, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • A road closure in Sheridan Road Belvedere the entire length.

    • No waiting and no loading in Sheridan Road the entire length, restrictions will be removed when not required.

    • Road closure on Arbrook Road and Paroma Road preventing egress and egress at Sheridan Road, localised diversions will also be implemented when required

  2. The Order will come into effect on 1st May 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 6 weeks.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be via

    • Picardy Street, Picardy Road, Abbey Crescent, Upper Abbey Road, Coleman Road, Upper Sheridan Road

    • Paroma Road, Everards Road Upper Sheridan Road

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Various Roads in the London Borough of Bexley – Closures and Associated Restrictions for Street Parties for VE Day Celebrations

Notice of Intention

  1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable street parties to celebrate VE Day, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of road closures, parking restrictions and prohibitions of vehicle movement except for access as set out in the Schedule to the Order.

  2. The Order will come into effect on 5 May 2025, the measures apply to different roads for one day only for each affected road. Full details are set out in the Schedule to the Order.

  3. No alternative routes will be provided whilst the street parties are in progress.

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable Morrison Water Services to undertake utility repair and maintenance in the carriageway and footway, the effects of which will be the introduction of:

    • Prohibition of traffic from the junction with Upper Wickham Lane for approx. 20 metres into Burnell Avenue, Welling

    • Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition first two bays on Burnell Avenue, Welling at the junction with Upper Wickham Lane, Welling

  2. The Order will come into effect on 29 April 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 12 days.

  3. Whilst the works are in progress alternative routes will be provided via:

    • Olyffe Avenue, Lovel Avenue, Upper Wickham Lane, Burnell Avenue, and reverse

    • Upper Wickham Lane, Bellegrove Road, Central Avenue, Burnell Avenue, and reverse

  4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

  5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
