HERTSMERE BOROUGH COUNCIL

THE HERTSMERE BOROUGH COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS) (DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hertsmere Borough Council, (pursuant to arrangements made with Hertfordshire County Council) has made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce disabled parking places in various roads as specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The order will come into effect on 6th May 2025. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the order may be inspected from 23rd April 2025 during normal office hours at Central Reception, Hertsmere Borough Council, Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood, WD6 1WA or viewed at www.hertsmere.gov.uk

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.

SCHEDULE: Disabled persons parking places (Various Roads) – in those sections of roads listed below and as set out in the order and accompanying plans –

Parts of Holt Close, Eldon Avenue, Lexington Close and Stratfield Road Borehamwood.

Parts of Highview Gardens Potters Bar.
