What is happening?

CITY OF BRISTOL

(GLEN PARK, EASTVILLE, BRISTOL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Glen Park which extends from Fishponds Road to Stapleton Road.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 19th May 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 19th May 2025 and 20th June 2025).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
North westbound: Fishponds Road, Heath Street, Stapleton Road
South eastbound: Stapleton Road, Boswell Street, Fishponds Road

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES)
(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be;-

1. to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice; and;

2. to suspend, temporarily, when appropriate signs are covered, the existing one way traffic working:-

(a) in a south easterly direction in Lodge Street; and

(b) in a north easterly direction in Trenchard Street – so as to give effect to the alternative routes as a consequence of item 1. above and allow access and egress for work vehicles.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads and will be operative from 15th May 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the restrictions may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 15th May 2025 and 30th November 2025).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads and will be operative from 14th May 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place in 3 phases of between 2 and 4 weeks duration each, within the period between 14th May 2025 and 31st December 2025).
