PUBLIC NOTICE

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL

(SHORT STREET)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on the entire length of Short Street.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 08:00 on 6 May 2025 until 16:00 on
13 June 2025.
The diversion route is: Fryer Street, Lichfield Street, Princes Square, Broad Street, Long Street or Fryer Street, Broad Street, Long Street.
The Order is required to facilitate installation of scaffolding to the rear of The Moon Under the Water Public House for building maintenance works by Wulfrun Building Solutions.
