What is happening?

The Nottinghamshire County Council

(Buckfast Way And Eltham Road, West Bridgford) 
(Prohibition Of Waiting)Traffic Regulation Order 2025 (8388)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council Has Made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No.1086), as amended, the effects of which will be in respect of roads at West Bridgford in the Borough of Rushcliffe:

1. Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time along the following lengths of road: -

BROCKLEY ROAD, (WEST BRIDGFORD) (both sides)
- From its junction with Eltham Road in a northwesterly direction for 10 metres.

ELTHAM ROAD, (WEST BRIDGFORD) (the north side)
- From a point 10 metres west of its junction with Brockley Road, in an easterly direction to a point 6 metres east of that junction.

ELTHAM ROAD, (WEST BRIDGFORD) (the north and north-east side)
- From a point 40 metres east of its junction with Brockley Road, in an easterly then southeasterly direction for 68 metres. 

ELTHAM ROAD, (WEST BRIDGFORD) (the south and south-west side)
- From a point opposite a point 38 metres east of its junction with Brockley Road, in an easterly then south- easterly direction for 54 metres.

2. Proposed Bus Stop Clearway (No Stopping at any time except buses) along the following lengths of road:-

ELTHAM ROAD, WEST BRIDGFORD (the north side)

- From a point 6 metres east of its junction with Brockley Road, in an easterly direction for 19 metres.

b) West Bridgford Library, Bridgford Road, Nottingham, NG2 6AT Or by visiting the County Council's website (https://consult.nottinghamshire.gov.uk)

THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON 30TH APRIL 2025. 

The proposals have been introduced to deal with inconsiderate and obstructive parking at these locations.
