Clifton Road, Lowestoft - Temporary Road Closure due to Carriageway Resurfacing
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U8075 CLIFTON ROAD, LOWESTOFT
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U8075 Clifton Road, Lowestoft to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion routes will be:
(Eastbound) Beaconsfield Road, Lawson Road, Lorne Park Road, the B1532 and no vice versa
(Westbound) the B1532, Waterloo Road, the B1532, Cliff Road, the B1532, Lorne Park Road, Lawson Road,
Beaconsfield Road and no vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 7pm on 24/04/2025 - 5am on 25/04/2025 with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
