Winkfield Lane, Bracknell - Temporary Road Closure due to Gas Works

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
a) Winkfield Lane, Winkfield in both directions between the junctions of A330 Maidens Green and Crouch Lane.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: Cocks Lane, A330 Maidens Green, A330 Church Road, A330 Pigeonhouse Lane, B3022 North Street, Crouch Lane or by this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while Cadent Gas replay and transfer gas services.
The Order came into operation on the 14th April 2025 and has a maximum duration of 6 months. However, It is currently planned that the closure will be in place between 14th April 2025 – 31st May 2025.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
