What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

LONG STREET, DORDON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works for boundary box renewal.

Order Commences: 26 April 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 27 April 2025.

Access & Diversion: Long Street, Whitehouse Road, Dordon Road, Fairfields Hill, Market Street, Grendon Road, Polesworth Road, Sheepy Road, Atherstone Road, Old Holly Lane, Holly Lane, Watling Street, A5 and vice versa.

Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.


MAIN ROAD, SHUTTINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable works for foul drainage connection.

Order Commences: 1 May 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 19 May 2025.

Access & Diversion: Main Road, Linden Lane, Shuttington Lane, Shuttington Road and vice versa.

Contractor: Friel Construction Ltd, Tel:07341 885 224.


PARK AVENUE, POLESWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works for boundary box installation.

Order Commences: 1 May 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 2 May 2025.

Access & Diversion: Park Avenue, Hollies Road, St Helena Road, Park Road and vice versa.

Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.


Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders: 

AUSTREY LANE, NO MANS HEATH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable excavation and electricity connection works.

Order Commences: 12 May 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 23 May 2025.

Access & Diversion: Austrey Lane, No Mans Heath Lane, Main Road, Bishops Cleeve, Warton Lane, Newton Lane, Shuttington Lane, Hangmans Lane, Ashby Road and vice versa.

Contractor: S&R Construction Ltd, Tel: 07808 857 880.


PUBLIC FOOTPATH FROM BIRMINGHAM ROAD TO
RAVENSWOOD HILL, COLESHILL
Order Effect: Footpath closed to all traffic.

Reason for Order: Works to re-pack small sluice valve.

Order Commences: 12 May 2025 for up to 6 months.

Anticipated Completion: 14 May 2025.

Access & Diversion: Footpath from Birmingham Road to Ravenswood Hill, Birmingham Road, Colemeadow Road and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. 

Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
