Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych wedi gwneud Gorchymyn, sy’n gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag teithio ar y ffordd honno o Ffordd Dosbarth III a elwir yn ffordd yr Hen Ysgol i groesffordd Groes Efa, Llandyrnog, yn Sir Ddinbych sy’n ymestyn o’i chyffordd â B5429 i’w chyffordd â Nant Glyd.

Y rheswm dros gau’r ffordd yw hwyluso gwaith i osod gwasanaethau a/neu gyfleustodau trydan newydd gan O’Connor Utilities ar ran Scottish Power.

Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd arwyddion yn ar y llwybr amgen, a fydd yn cynnwys o’i gychwyniad yn y gyffordd â’r ffordd ddosbarth III a elwir yn Hen Ysgol, drwy’r gyffordd â B5429 i gyffordd Llandyrnog, cyffordd Llandyrnog i groesffordd Groes Efa, yna i’r rhan sydd wedi cau ar gyffordd Nant Glyd.

Bydd y Gorchymyn yn weithredol o 28 Ebrill 2025 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gyntaf. Disgwylir y byddai barhau tan tua 9 Mai 2025.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

CLASS III ROAD LLANDYRNOG

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council has made an Order prohibiting vehicles using that length of Class III road known as Old School junction to Groes Efa crossroads, Llandyrnog in the County of Denbigh which extends from its junction with B5429 to its junction with Nant Glyd.

The closure is to facilitate installation of new electrical mains and services by O’Connor Utilities on behalf of Scottish Power.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The signposted alternative route will be via B5429 to Llandyrnog roundabout, Llandyrnog roundabout to Groes Efa crossroads, then to the closed section at Nant Glyd junction.

The Order is effective from 28th April 2025 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 9th May 2025.
