NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Orders would be to:

(a) introduce/extend waiting restrictions as set out in the Schedule to this Notice;

(b) introduce pay by phone parking operating Monday to Sunday 8.00 am – 6.30pm as set out in the Schedule to this Notice.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order.

Copies of the proposed Orders, of the plans of the scheme and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at Bromley Council, Churchill Court, Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Assistant of Traffic and Parking, Bromley Council, Churchill Court, Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS, or by email to TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/784 not later than 9th May 2025.

Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

SCHEDULE:-

WAITING RESTRICTIONS

No Waiting At Any Time:-

WORSLEY BRIDGE ROAD, Beckenham, (a) the south west side, (i) from a point 31m north west of the north western kerbline of Copers Cope Road north westwards for a distance of 21m; (b) the north east side, (i) from a point 63m north west of the north western kerbline of Greycot Road north west wards for a distance of 169m.

PAY BY PHONE PARKING

Pay by Phone parking 0.70p per hour, £1.40 for 2 hours, £2.10 for 3 hours, £2.80 for 4 hours, £3.50 for 5 hours, £4.20 for all day parking between 8.00am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Sundays inclusive, except Public Holidays and Bank Holidays:-
