What is happening?
REDCAR AND CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL
(NATIONAL ROAD RACE CHAMPIONSHIPS ) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
The effect of the Order was to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding or parking or waiting (including for loading and unloading in the lengths of road specified in the Schedule and the junctions thereon.
Diversion routes were in place prior to the event.
Emergency access was to be maintained at all times.
The Order came into operation on 13.4.25 for the purpose of facilitating the holding of a relevant event.
The restrictions only applied at such times and to such extent as were from time to time indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
